Responsibilities

Designs and implements development training programs to enhance the effectiveness of managers and teams to increase organization productivity and customer satisfaction
Assesses critical business issues and designs organization development and strategic plans to enhance company performance
Facilitates design and implementation of reengineering and/or reorganization efforts
Advises on team design and performance
Provides development, coaching and training managers on leadership skills
Design, create, and maintain engaging training, learning, and development materials that support initiatives to enhance employee and leader experience and effectiveness
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure content aligns with organizational goals, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of programs

Required

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience; Master's Degree and 1 years of relevant professional experience
One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications: NNS Apprentice School graduate, Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate, Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience, Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience, High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience, High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Strategic design and systems mindset
Familiarity with key authoring tools such as Captivate to create engaging content for varying audiences and learning needs
Strong organizational and skills to manage timelines and deliverables
Strong knowledge of Adult Learning Principles
Proven ability to work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts (SME), trainers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality content
Ability to stay current with trends in learning technologies and design, incorporating innovative techniques to engage the learner

Preferred

Instructional Design experience a plus
Experience in training, learning, and development content creation
Design thinking
