Responsibilities
Design and build Ab Initio graphs and Conduct>it Plans
Integrate with a portfolio of Ab Initio software
Build and implement data acquisition and transformation/curation requirements
Identify performance bottlenecks in graphs and optimize them
Ensure high code quality, automated testing, and adherence to engineering best practices
Keep abreast of Ab Initio best practices and new features
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
7+ years of ETL Design and Development experience using Ab Initio
Strong knowledge in Ab Initio MDH and DQ checks
2 years of Data Integration project experience on Hadoop Platform, preferably Cloudera
Excellent SQL, UNIX shell scripting, and performance tuning skills
Technical experience in design (mapping specifications, HLD, LLD), development (coding, unit testing) using Ab Initio
Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall Development practices
Ability to work independently and support other junior developers
Preferred
Some Java development experience
Experience with Ab Initio components such as Rollup, Scan, Join, and others
Experience in building automation pipelines for Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI-CD)
