Responsibilities

Lead and manage architectural projects from conceptual design through construction administration, specifically in the K-12 education sector
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Prepare and review architectural drawings and specifications using Revit and other design tools
Ensure compliance with DSA regulations and standards throughout all phases of the project
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
Conduct site visits and coordinate with contractors and consultants to oversee construction progress and quality control
Incorporate sustainable design practices and LEED principles into project design and documentation
Support the production of construction documents and ensure accuracy and completeness

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
5+ years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on K-12 or educational projects
Proficient in Revit and other architectural design software
Strong knowledge of DSA regulations and procedures
Experience with construction documentation and coordinating with contractors during construction phases
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Licensed Architect with AIA, NCARB, and LEED AP credentials
