Responsibilities

This position serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of F-35 Aircraft Maintenance, Joint Technical data, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Documentation, Action Request processing, Formal On-The-Job Task training/Certifier, and training development/design
The position also serves as the F-35 Training SME for the newly assigned aircraft maintenance crews and senior leadership. Individual may be required to train multiple trainees at a time on the ground handling, engine removal, and other component replacement required for the F-35 aircraft
This position will also support the certification and development of newly assigned instructors and newly developed course materials. This position will certify instructors to independently teach courses, as well as perform the duties of quality oversight and standardization in the review and modification of course materials
Will require often and extended business travel (potentially with short notice) with the potential to support Foreign Partner locations. Must be available to work flexible schedule to cover nights and weekends as require
Must meet all physical requirements to include:
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Stand for long periods (up to 8 hours)
Walk on uneven surfaces, climb ladders, stairs and
Aircraft structures
Work in a physically demanding environment, including
Working in extreme temperatures, humidity and
Weather conditions
Must meet all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements to perform assigned tasks / training

Required

Must be a US Citizen
This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Must possess at minimum Interim Secret Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance
This position serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of F-35 Aircraft Maintenance

Leadership experience
Must possess solid conflict resolution skills
F-35 AFS or Aero Instructor experience
Training course development experience
Knowledgeable of OSHA, AFOSH, NAVOSH, and state safety and health standards and regulations
Knowledgeable on NAVAIR Instruction 4790 Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
Knowledgeable on AFI 21-101 Aircraft and Equipment Maintenance Management
7 Level/Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) or Equivalent
F-35 Egress/Seat Certifications/FLSC
F-35 Gun System Removal and Installation Certification
F-35 Engine Operation Certification
F-35 Engine Borescope Inspection Certification
F-35 Structures/Low Observable experience
