Responsibilities
Conducts routine, complex, and special inspections
Will train and instruct new employees in the techniques and procedures used in performing inspections, handling investigations, surveys, or complaints
Will take action indicated by results of inspections, tests, and investigations
Makes recommendations concerning the proper application of laws, rules, and regulations
Completes detailed inspection reports
Maintains records pertaining to inspection schedules and results
Checks for requirements prescribed by law, such as proper licensing, record keeping, security, safety and sanitary conditions, ACA Regulatory Laws and Regulations
Direct inmate contact
Works security post as needed
This position requires one 12 hour shift per week in security
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or the equivalent
Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in a closely related field
Licensure and/or certification pertinent to the work performed
A valid driver's license may be required
Benefits
$5000 will be added to the minimum starting rate of pay for all classifications within a Critical Vacancy Pay Supplemental Facility.
Employees in this classification shall receive an annual base building pay differential each fiscal year of $250 after completing one year of service.
If an employee is hired into a Critical Vacancy Pay Facility (CVPF) and leaves the facility, the additional pay differential of $5,000 shall be removed from their salary, unless transferring to another CVPF.
