Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Information Systems and related areas
Maintain an active research agenda leading to peer-reviewed publications, presentations, and external funding opportunities
Advise and mentor students, including supervising undergraduate and graduate research
Contribute to program development and curriculum planning and develop new courses aligned with evolving program needs
Engage in departmental service, including committee work and professional, community, and university service consistent with tenure expectations

Required

Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems or a closely related field (e.g., Information Science, Data Science, Computer Science). ABD candidates near completion will be considered
Demonstrated potential for scholarly productivity
Evidence of effective teaching or strong promise as an instructor
Commitment to serving a multicultural student body in an institution focused on excellence

Preferred

Research or teaching expertise in one or more of the following areas: Business Analytics, AI Application, Accounting Information System, FinTech, etc
Experience with online, hybrid, or technology-enhanced instruction
Experience working with first-generation students in a Hispanic-Serving Institution
Evidence of teaching effectiveness or scholarly work
