RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Oracle/SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with strong project management capabilities. This role is 80% focused on database administration and 20% on project coordination and execution, requiring deep expertise in Oracle and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary DBA for Oracle and SQL Server environments
Design, implement, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures and scripts
Monitor and optimize database performance, including SQL profiling and index tuning
Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard
Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with internal policies
Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents
Provide on-call support and perform maintenance during off-hours as needed
Assist in planning and managing IT infrastructure projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to best practices
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
Participate in strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Required

Expert level knowledge of Oracle Data Guard
Experience with RMAN
Strong project management capabilities
Deep expertise in Oracle and SQL Server
