Process Engineer II - (1st/2nd/3rd shifts)

Responsibilities
Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality
Identify and resolve process-related issues in a timely manner to minimize production downtime
Ensure all processes comply with industry regulations, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA guidelines
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of process changes, validations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Assurance, Validation to support process improvements and new product introductions
Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering in mechanical, chemical, or electrical disciplines
Minimum three (3) years of engineering experience in a pharmaceutical industry setting with a focus on aseptic processing and lyophilization
Knowledge of GMP requirements and regulations
Ability to effectively communicate, interact, and collaborate with internal and external members
Strong analytical skills, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and the capability to utilize analysis software and company quality system software
Must be flexible to work weekends, off hours, and occasional holidays as needed to support continuous operations
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods within the manufacturing plant
Ability to lift and move equipment and tools, typically weighing up to 50 pounds
Frequent bending, squatting, and reaching to access equipment
Keen eyesight for detailed inspection and tasks
Adequate hearing ability to perceive alarms, and machinery sounds
Occasionally required to climb ladders or stairs to access equipment
Ability to work in various plant environment, including clean rooms, laboratories, and production areas, sometimes requiring personal protective equipment (PPE)
