Responsibilities

Own feature development for a Ruby on Rails–based music application

Work independently to design and implement new functionality under tight timelines

Partner with offshore developers (India team of 3–4) and provide technical guidance, support, and mentorship

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure code quality, maintainability, and on-time delivery

Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes; work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, etc.)

Balance speed and quality to meet a critical business deadline while maintaining long-term scalability

Qualification

Required

5+ years of expertise in Ruby on Rails, with proven experience building and shipping new features on complex applications

Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while collaborating with and mentoring an offshore team

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (or similar databases), JavaScript, and Kubernetes/CI/CD deployment workflows
