They are seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to support projects in sustaining engineering and new product development, including design verification, troubleshooting system issues, and developing automated testing tools.

Responsibilities

Assisting with design verification and validation (experiment planning, execution, and documentation)
Analyzing and troubleshooting system issues
Supporting nonconformance and failure investigations
Developing tools and scripts for automated testing

Qualification

Required

Experience with electronic lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters) is a plus
Experience with a scripting language (Python, MATLAB, etc.) is a plus
Specific courses in systems engineering and/or medical devices are a plus
Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Critical thinking, organizational and analytical skills
Attention to detail
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or above in BME, ECE, MechE, etc
Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or above
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Close collaboration across departments to meet project requirements and timelines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be able to work effectively with and relate to all levels within the organization
Team skills that demonstrate inclusivity, decisiveness, good facilitation, a process improvement orientation, and approachability
