Responsibilities

Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders (investors, auditors, advisors). Maintain dashboards, variance analyses, and commentary

Strong understanding of GAAP standards, prepare and support audit/diligence materials and respond to various investor reporting requests

Own month-end close, AP/AR, cash-to-accrual, and board-level reporting in a lean accounting team; partner closely with the VP Finance & Ops

Own financial dashboards, variance analysis, and insights to support business decision-making

Work towards building a global headcount reporting structure and headcount reports as the company scales

Work closely with the accountant facilitating a timely and accurate month-end close process

Own Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes end-to-end: invoicing, collections cadence, vendor setup/payments, policy/compliance hygiene

Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely closures and accuracy

Drive process accuracy and cycle-time reduction; design controls that scale

Support FP&A activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Translate actuals to insights leaders can act on

Help streamline and improve finance processes, controls and documentation as the company scales and shifts to accrual-based accounting methodology

Partner across People Ops, Legal, Operations, and Leadership to align headcount, spend, and vendor plans with financial goals
