JAKALA is looking to hire an Email Developer for one of their major global pharmaceutical clients. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing email campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring best practices and operational excellence across U.S. and international instances.

Responsibilities

Build, customize, and manage emails using SFMC Email Builder, Content Builder, and Journey Builder
Implement dynamic and personalized content using AMP script, HTML/CSS, and responsive design principles
Maintain and enhance the Email Design System, including reusable components and content blocks
Provide campaign support and triage for the SFMC engineering team
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to emails or content blocks in partnership with end users, operations, and agency teams
Conduct QA testing for campaigns and components to ensure accurate rendering and functionality
Ensure adherence to email best practices, accessibility guidelines, and compliance standards

Required

Hands-on experience with SFMC Email Builder, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and AMP script

Ability to diagnose and fix email rendering issues and bugs
Experience with QA and troubleshooting across multiple SFMC instances
Deep knowledge of email marketing best practices, including deliverability and personalization

Preferred

Experience supporting global email programs across multiple regions
Familiarity with agile workflows and collaboration tools
Knowledge of email accessibility standards
