Assist the Advancement team with a diverse range of tasks within their department
Meet weekly with a cohort of interns to build camaraderie, share experiences, and learn from Spurwink employees

Required

Currently be full-time residents of Maine or attend a college or university in Maine
Have a strong interest in working for a non-profit organization
Ability to commute to the Greater Portland area throughout the internship
Have an interest in the field of communications and non-profit development
Experience with Microsoft 365
Create a capstone project sharing educational goals, skills learned, and your experiences
Attend a weekly meeting with a supervisor
Exhibit enthusiasm for the work in the department and the mission of Spurwink Services
Have strong communication skills
Ability to work independently
Critical thinking skills
