ELCO Lighting is a company committed to high quality lighting products and exceptional customer service. They are seeking a highly organized Operations Coordinator to improve operational efficiency and support day-to-day initiatives by collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the COO to execute operational priorities and initiatives

Take ownership of assigned projects from idea through completion

Coordinate with department managers to gather information, align on processes, and ensure follow-through

Track tasks, deadlines, and open items to completion

Learn and understand core business workflows (orders, returns, customer service, fulfillment, etc.)

Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement

Propose solutions, obtain approval, and implement improvements

Work primarily within existing systems (ERP and internal portal), recommending enhancements or tools when needed

Partner with department managers to document current workflows

Create detailed SOPs that reflect real-world operations

Help standardize processes across departments

Maintain and update documentation as processes evolve

Research tools, vendors, and systems (e.g., customer service automation, workflow tools)

Compare options, test solutions, and present clear recommendations

Assist with implementation and documentation once approved
