Responsibilities

Communicate with engineers, utility owners and field crews
Review construction specifications and drawings
Ability to travel to the site and participate in meetings, coordination of subcontractors, material procurement with superintendents
Procure, review and organize shop drawings of materials and equipment
Participate in quality control inspections and review
Scheduling inspections and updating the project schedule
Strong problem-solving skills
Adhere to Sovereign Consulting Inc. Health & Safety Standards in all field-related activities

Qualification

Technical knowledge in water/wastewaterOSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certificationProficient in Microsoft Project4 Year Engineering DegreeProblem-solving skills

Required

Technical knowledge/aptitude in water and wastewater field
2-3 years of related experience
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification or willingness to obtain
8-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Supervisor Training or willingness to obtain
10-Hour or 30-Hour Construction Training or willingness to obtain
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project – Basic level
Must have a good driving record

Preferred

4 Year Engineering Degree preferred, but not required
