Responsibilities
Lead and manage an application engineering team supporting top-tier consumer electronics customers
Partner with strategic accounts to develop best-in-class adhesive solutions and application processes
Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Mentor engineers and scientists, supporting long-term career development and succession planning
Own CapEx planning and drive continuous improvement of laboratory infrastructure and capabilities
Ensure labs and teams are future-ready, leveraging automation and advanced modeling tools
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, company, and customer requirements
Adapt engineering strategies using agile methodologies to meet evolving customer and market needs
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering
10+ years of experience with adhesives, films, and/or tapes used in consumer electronics devices
5+ years of people leadership experience managing teams of 5+ engineers or scientists
Strong ability to apply agile methodologies in fast-paced, customer-driven environments
Familiarity with FEA, flow modeling, CAD tools, and lab automation technologies
