Crate and Barrel is seeking a Scrum Master to join their Technology team. This role is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and coordination of smaller technology projects while promoting agile best practices to ensure successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

Oversee or drive the planning, execution, and coordination of smaller technology projects or manage standard complexity agile teams (as a Scrum Master)

Partner with product management and engineering to ensure clear scope, requirements, and delivery timelines

Focus on effective delivery and execution, ensuring projects meet their objective

Monitor project/team progress, identify risks and impediments, and report status to stakeholders

Promote and facilitate agile best practices within the team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication to all involved stakeholders

Contribute to the improvement of project management and agile processes

Mentor junior Agile Project Managers or team members on agile practices as needed

Required

5+ years of experience in a technology environment

3+ years of experience in program management, project management, or as a Scrum Master

Proficiency in agile and project tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

Experience with project and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Excellent stakeholder management skills

Strong written and oral communication, and ability to influencing stakeholders to achieve results

Excellent collaboration skills to work with diverse teams

Ability to manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively

Strong problem-solving and impediment resolution skills
