Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works with support, engineering, and quality teams to document solutions for recurring technical issues
Embedded Software Development: Participates in the full lifecycle of embedded software/firmware/BIOS development, including design, maintenance, and error correction
Product Lifecycle & Management: Utilizes best-in-class development processes to manage and implement software products
Product Strategy & Documentation: Contributes to product definition, feature prioritization, competitive analysis, and technical documentation
Innovation & Testing: Leads idea generation and oversees testing and debugging of new or enhanced software products
Qualification
Required
13+ years of related experience in a professional software role
Significant knowledge of computer architecture and CPU interfaces
Skills in analyzing computer systems and diagnosing problems
Familiar with Dell's Server and Storage products
Preferred
Bachelor's and/or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related discipline
