They are seeking an intern for their Psychology and Social Services department to assist with administrative tasks related to behavioral health needs without direct patient contact.

Assist the Outpatient and Community Services team with the department's diverse work
Meet weekly with a cohort of interns to build camaraderie, share experiences, and learn from Spurwink employees
Create a capstone project sharing educational goals, skills learned, and experiences
Attend a weekly meeting with a supervisor
Qualification
Required
All applicants must be full-time residents of Maine or attend a college or university in Maine
Have a strong interest in working for a non-profit organization
Ability to commute to the Greater Portland area throughout the internship
Have an interest in the field of non-profit administration
Experience with Microsoft 365
Create a capstone project sharing educational goals, skills learned, and your experiences
Attend a weekly meeting with a supervisor
Candidates must exhibit enthusiasm for the work in the department and the mission of Spurwink Services
Must have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and critical thinking skills
