Events Assistant

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and execution of various events including conferences, workshops, and community gatherings
Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and equipment rental
Create and maintain event timelines, budgets, and task lists to ensure all details are covered and deadlines are met
Manage event registrations and maintain accurate guest lists to ensure a smooth check-in process
Help develop promotional materials and marketing strategies to increase event attendance
Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

Event PlanningOrganizational SkillsCommunication SkillsMicrosoft Office SuiteEvent Management Software

Required

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field
Proven experience in event planning or support, with a strong understanding of the events industry
Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
