Responsibilities

Lead and manage a cross-functional software engineering team working within agile scrum frameworks
Oversee the planning, development, and delivery of software solutions that support foundry operations
Collaborate with the additional manager and other stakeholders to align team efforts with company objectives
Develop and execute project strategies, ensuring effective portfolio management and timely delivery of initiatives
Mentor and develop team members, promoting continuous improvement, agile best practices, and professional growth
Establish performance metrics, monitor progress, and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity
Communicate project status, risks, and challenges to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
Drive innovation and maintain deep technical and operational understanding of microelectronic foundry processes
Manage and deliver staffing and reporting status and metrics to ATL leadership
Support funding activities for products in direct benefit of programs
Prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result and provide direction to resolve priorities to achieve goals
Make decisions that impact the organization’s credibility, operations, and services
Comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 7 years of relevant experience
2+ years management experience
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholder expectations
Prior agile software team leadership experience
Experience designing, developing, integrating, verifying, and qualifying software products with software and systems engineering
Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools—specifically Git source control knowledge and Atlassian Suite (Jira, BitBucket, etc.) knowledge
The selected candidate will be required to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance as a condition of continued employment; maintaining the required clearance will be a condition of continued employment

Preferred

Prior experience leading or playing a key role in efforts involving Digital Transformation implementation/proliferation
Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution (MES), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Experience and demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams including job analysis, new product design, system architecture, software development, system integration and working with customers and other stakeholders to perform requirement definition
Experience with modern software development methodologies and DevOps practices
Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices relevant to microelectronics and semiconductor manufacturing
