Responsibilities

Works as a full-time non-exempt (hourly) employee supporting the ARNG Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP)
Serves as a Simulation Technician on the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) team, providing support to the MTC and other training facilities or deployed sites as required
Serves as the local hardware, software, and functional expert for one of the following: FIRESIM, BSWS, JDLM, MUSE, or SENGEN
Answers questions concerning operation of the system, troubleshoots problems, and provides configuration management on software/hardware systems
Provides formal classroom instruction to BSWS operators prior to constructive exercises
Maintains setup, testing, and troubleshooting guides for SME system
Troubleshoots computer hardware, software, and basic networking configurations

Required

Minimum of 1 year experience in the LVC-G field. Demonstrated experience in Live, Virtual, Constructive, Gaming (LVCG) federations, models, systems, tools and Mission Command Systems (MCSs)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in setting up systems, troubleshooting, and software configuration issues. Military experiences preferred. Simulation experience preferred
Must have an understanding of Windows OS and Linux OS
Experience working in a high security environment and management of classified equipment; Understand the Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation process and Information Assurance (IA) requirements
Must meet DOD 8570.01-M Baseline and Computing Environment (CE) Certification Requirements Level II. Must meet all IA training and reporting requirements
Must be able to successfully pass the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Awareness compact disk--read-only memory (CD-ROM) course as a minimum training requirement
Reports directly to the SST Lead
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Must be able to obtain and maintain CompTIA Security + certification
