Kforce Inc is seeking an experienced DevOps/Automation Engineer to support their enterprise telecommunications and mass media client. The role focuses on redefining infrastructure delivery and management through automation and cloud migration efforts.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation and provisioning processes
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using a centralized platform (transitioning to Specflow 2)
Support ongoing migration efforts from on-prem infrastructure to internal cloud (Bluecloud) and AWS environments
Contribute to the transition toward Redshift and related cloud data platforms (confidential initiative)
Manage and evolve portions of AWS responsibilities previously owned by other infrastructure teams
Integrate telemetry solutions into automation frameworks
Maintain and modernize some legacy VMware provisioning as automation expands
Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and repeatable deployments

Required

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or related automation-focused roles
Experience with CI/CD pipelines - ideally GitLab, but Jenkins or similar tools are acceptable
Solid Linux administration experience
Experience supporting both on-prem and cloud-based (private or public) environments
Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred; CloudFormation acceptable)
Proficiency in YAML for configuration management and automation scripting

Preferred

Hands-on experience with Ansible (team standard)
Previous experience integrating telemetry or monitoring solutions
Scripting in Python and/or PowerShell
Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats
Exposure to VMware provisioning and automation
Understanding of database environments (Teradata experience a plus)
