The General Inspector is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and promoting quality awareness throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
Perform routine and project-based inspections for integrity and compliance
Verify work meets industry standards
Document inspection findings, non-conformities, and progress
Work with engineers, construction teams, and management to resolve issues
Ensure adherence to safety protocols (OSHA, company standards)
Qualification
Required
Proficient in use and calibration of welding inspection tools
Able to monitor in-process welding applications and verify compliance with applicable codes, standards and specific job requirements
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Able to work and communicate in a team environment
Must possess fundamental verbal and writing skills in English language
Must be able to walk long distances
Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl
Must be able to stand for extended durations
Must be able to reach in all directions
Must have good visual acuity with regards to color, depth perception and field vision
Must be able to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold temperatures
Must be alert and able to determine job related hazards and recognize when hazards change
Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
Preferred
Preferably holds current certification in Swagelok and Parker tubing fitting installation (Will accept expired certification depending on experience)
