New Grad, Entry LevelVRC Engineered Solutions is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. The role involves transporting and handling raw materials, maintaining production supplies, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities
Transport raw plastic materials (e.g., pellets, resins) to and from production machines
Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
Maintain a steady supply of materials to injection machines throughout the shift
Label and store finished goods in designated warehouse locations
Record material movements using scanners and documentation systems
Follow all safety and material handling procedures
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions
Collaborate with machine operators, supervisors, and quality control staff
Report defective materials or unsafe conditions promptly
Qualification
Required
Basic math and reading skills
Mechanically inclined; able to perform minor repairs
Attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be at least 18 years old with a strong attendance record
Forklift certification or ability to become certified
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Frequent twisting, bending, and overhead lifting (e.g., dumping 50 lb scrap barrels)
Ability to walk for 8+ hour shifts
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in plastics material handling or warehouse work in a manufacturing setting preferred
Knowledge of plastic materials and processes is a plus
