Corporate Development
Strategy and opportunity identification: Partner with executive leadership to define and execute the company’s corporate development strategy, including identifying and assessing potential acquisition targets, strategic investments, and partnership opportunities
Transaction execution: Lead the end-to-end M&A process—from sourcing and evaluation through negotiation, due diligence, and execution
Financial modeling and valuation: Develop and oversee financial models and valuation analyses to support investment and transaction decisions
Develop and own relationships with M&A intermediaries and asset owners including investment banks, Private Equity firms and Family-owned businesses
Cross-functional leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations, and HR) throughout the deal lifecycle, ensuring strategic alignment and disciplined execution
Post-merger integration oversight: Collaborate with integration leaders to ensure business case realization. Own the post-merger synergy scorecard, providing quarterly performance updates to the Executive Team and Board until integration completion
Investor Relations
Investor relations strategy: Develop and execute a cohesive investor relations program that aligns with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements
Communications: Partner with the CEO, CFO, Corporate Communications, Accounting, and FP&A to craft clear, consistent messaging for earnings materials, investor presentations, and public disclosures
Investor engagement: Serve as a key spokesperson for the company with investors, analysts, and financial media. Build and maintain strong relationships with the investment community
Market intelligence: Provide the Executive Team and Board with actionable insights into investor sentiment, market trends, and competitor activity
Event management: Lead quarterly earnings calls, investor conferences, and non-deal roadshows, ensuring consistent messaging and executive preparation
Regulatory compliance: Ensure all investor-facing communications and disclosures are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with SEC and exchange regulations

Manage and provide ongoing performance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for a team of 2 - 3 direct reports

Required

10+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and/or corporate development
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Strategic and analytical: Capable of linking financial and strategic decisions to long-term value creation
Exceptional communicator: Skilled at simplifying complex information for varied audiences, including investors, the Board, and internal stakeholders
Financial acumen: Strong command of financial statements, modeling, valuation analysis, strong understanding of corporate finance and capital markets
Executive presence: Gravitas and confidence to represent the company externally and engage credibly at the Board level
Relationship builder: Proven ability to earn trust and maintain credibility across senior leadership, external partners, and investors
Collaborative leader: Comfortable leading small, agile teams and driving cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment
Results-oriented: Strong ownership mindset, with a focus on disciplined execution and measurable business impact
