Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. The researcher will study and design catalysts and materials for energy applications using computational techniques and collaborate with other research groups while mentoring students.

Work with Dr. Matthew Montemore’s group to study and design catalysts and other materials for energy applications
Use a variety of computational techniques including quantum chemical methods and kinetic models
Collaborate with other research groups, especially experimental groups
Contribute to mentoring graduate and undergraduate students within the research group
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biomolecular Engineering, or a related field
Experience with computational techniques including quantum chemical methods and kinetic models
Ability to collaborate with other research groups, especially experimental groups
Experience in mentoring graduate and undergraduate students
