Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of 25–30 litigation matters
Take depositions and attend hearings and mediations
Draft and submit pleadings, motions, and briefs
Prepare correspondence to clients and colleagues
Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
Draft and respond to discovery requests
Review and analyze documents for production
Investigate claims and develop case handling strategies
Report effectively to insurance carrier clients and insureds
Prepare cases for trial or mediation and participate in proceedings
Qualification
Required
JD earned between 2019–2022
Admitted to practice in New York
3–6 years of litigation experience
Experience taking depositions
Excellent academic credentials
Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
