Responsibilities
Take ownership of complex systems across scheduling, payments, automations, communications, reporting, and internal tooling
Help guide architectural decisions, reducing technical debt, and mentoring other engineers
Qualification
Required
8+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong experience with Ruby (6+ years preferred)
Experience with at least one additional backend language (e.g. Elixir, Python, Java, etc.)
Comfortable working across backend and frontend systems as needed
Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, from design through production
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with Product and Design teams
Strong system design skills with a focus on scalability, resilience, and reliability
Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and supporting production systems
Cloud-native mindset and experience leveraging open-source technologies
Passion for building software that delivers real-world impact
