Responsibilities

Independently handle all phases of complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance defense
Regularly conduct & defend depositions, handle court appearances, and motion practice. Effectively prepare and examine witnesses, ensuring thorough case preparation and strong representation of clients
Collaborate with attorneys, team members, and seasoned Partners on high-impact legal projects, contributing to a collaborative, results-driven environment

Qualification

Required

A year of civil or commercial litigation experience, ideally with any of general liability, insurance coverage, product liability, premises liability and or professional liability
Juris Doctorate from ABA-accredited law school
Must be admitted in New York
Proficiency in managing complex litigation from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing

Preferred

Experience with construction/labor law and or transportation and trucking matters preferred
