Responsibilities

Large-scale datacenter fabric deployments (front-end, back-end, management)
EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, CLOS architectures
High-performance AI networking (lossless Ethernet, RDMA environments)
Physical layer validation (optics, OTDR, insertion loss)
Coordinating across DC ops, cabling vendors, and internal engineering teams

Required

3+ years in datacenter networking with a great understanding of modern datacenter fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, CLOS architectures)
Have configured production network infrastructure (comfortable in the field, not just behind a screen)
Strong in troubleshooting. Diagnosing network issues across both physical and logical layers. Good understanding of OTDR traces, validating insertion loss, debugging BGP sessions, and tracing connectivity through complex topologies
Bias to action, high ownership, low tolerance for bureaucracy
Willing to travel heavily - deployments happen where the hardware is (this would be around 70% of the time, project-based, so would be a few weeks at a time)

Preferred

Exposure to AI/ML networking and high-performance fabrics, including RDMA / RoCEv2 and lossless Ethernet concepts (PFC, ECN)
Experience deploying or troubleshooting datacenter networks built on Arista, Juniper, or NVIDIA platforms
Comfort working at the physical layer: structured cabling, fibre (SMF/MMF), insertion loss, and basic optical validation
Prior coordination with cabling vendors and internal ICT / facilities teams during live deployments
Working understanding of network automation approaches (e.g. Python, Ansible, configuration templating), you're not writing it yourself, but have an understanding
Familiarity with DCIM, asset tracking, or inventory systems used in fast-moving datacenter environments
