Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for AI integration across our healthcare provider solutions portfolio

Advocate for responsible AI adoption throughout the SDLC, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance

Bridge the gap between clinical subject matter experts and technical teams to identify high-value AI use cases

Evaluate and recommend AI tools and frameworks that align with healthcare compliance requirements

Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to demonstrate AI's value in addressing healthcare challenges

Establish best practices and governance structures for AI implementation in healthcare software

Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for AI enhancement in existing applications

Develop metrics to measure the impact of AI on product quality, development efficiency, and clinical outcomes

Train and mentor development teams on AI integration techniques specific to healthcare applications

Required

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or related field; advanced degree preferred

Proven experience designing high-performing, scalable, and secure data-driven web applications

Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, microservices, security principles, event-driven architecture, and software design patterns

3+ years of experience in healthcare software development or product management

Demonstrated understanding of modern AI technologies including machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience implementing solutions that incorporate these technologies

Experience implementing AI solutions within regulated environments, particularly healthcare

Knowledge of healthcare data structures, standards (HL7, FHIR), and regulations (HIPAA, HITECH)

Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills

Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
