Responsibilities
Refactoring for Scale: You will audit and refactor existing Apex and automation that was built for a smaller business. You’ll move us toward a cleaner, service-oriented architecture that handles 50k+ transactions without hitting governor limits
Modernizing the UI: We are moving away from bloated, 'out of the box' pages. You’ll build high-performance Lightning Web Components (LWC) designed for speed and a professional user experience
Systems Integration: You’ll own the logic that connects Salesforce to our internal databases. This means building and managing secure, resilient REST APIs and handling complex data synchronization
Release Integrity: You will help manage a GitHub-based deployment pipeline, perform deep peer code reviews, and ensure our test suites are actually testing logic, not just chasing coverage percentages
Qualification
Required
Engineering Maturity: You've spent years in the platform. You've seen how bad triggers can tank an org, and you know how to build frameworks that prevent that from happening
Technical Breadth: You are an expert in Apex, but you are also comfortable in modern JavaScript and SQL. You know when a problem should be solved in Salesforce and when it should stay in the data warehouse
Predictive Problem Solving: You don't just fix bugs; you find the root cause. You think about how a change in the Data Model today will affect a deployment six months from now
Professional Directness: You can explain to a stakeholder why a 'quick fix' will cause technical debt, and you can propose a better alternative that keeps the system healthy
