Wells Fargo is seeking a High Grade Debt Capital Markets Analyst as part of Corporate & Investment Banking Group. The role involves assisting in pitching and executing capital markets debt transactions, analyzing companies' capital structures, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver client solutions.

Responsibilities

Assist in pitching and executing capital markets debt transactions (i.e. primarily publicly-traded bonds and other debt securities)

Participate in analyzing companies and their capital structure

Make recommendations to clients

Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Investment Banking Program

Review and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations that require research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Take ownership of client deliverables and coordinate with your team to execute

Interact with internal and external customers

Required

6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted

For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check

Preferred

6+ months of capital markets experience

6+ months of financial services industry experience

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Bachelor's Degree with academic distinction and coursework in financial accounting, economics and corporate finance; MBA or CFA a plus

Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused collaborative and fast paced team environment with a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
