Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies to drive orders, bookings, and capture success
Build, strengthen, and manage senior-level customer relationships across defence and intelligence organisations
Lead end-to-end capture activities, from early opportunity shaping through proposal submission and contract award
Define capture strategies, win themes, and price-to-win approaches for major pursuits
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver compelling, compliant proposals
Engage with rapid acquisition mechanisms including BAAs, OTAs, and DIU pathways
Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions and product roadmaps
Prepare and present opportunity reviews and recommendations to internal leadership
Develop forecasts across customers, markets, and product lines
Influence internal processes, strategies, and execution approaches with measurable business impact

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
12+ years of relevant experience (10+ with a graduate degree); MBA or military background advantageous
Proven success leading complex defence and intelligence business capture efforts
Strong working knowledge of structured capture methodologies (e.g. Shipley)
Deep understanding of US DoD and Intelligence Community acquisition processes, including NSA programmes
Subject matter familiarity with cryptographic systems and secure communications technologies
Active SECRET clearance, with the ability and willingness to obtain TS/SCI
Exceptional leadership, judgement, and decision-making capability
Willingness to travel approximately 30%
