They are seeking a Hardware Technician for a large scale build out in Jersey City, responsible for deploying hardware, setting up workstations, and managing cable installations.

Responsibilities
Perform a large scale build out in Jersey City
Building out new floors in a new Jersey City location
Decommissioning the old site also in Jersey City
Deploying monitors and other hardware
Setting up workstations
Site surveys
Installing Thin Clients and docking stations
Cable management
Document their work and follow up with emails to users regarding updates to projects
Qualification
Required
2 plus years of Technology Move, Add, Change coordination and/or fulfillment experience in a financial markets environment
Client interfacing position requires customer service background and the ability to respond to email and telephone inquiries
Coordination responsibilities involve procurement of systems access, engagement of vendors for telephony and data ensuring installations by target date through multiple request management tools
Fulfillment responsibilities involve basic PC & hardware deployments including but not limited to PC builds, installations including disconnect and reconnect, moves, adds and changes
Good customer service and written and verbal communication skills
Must be a team player
Experience performing moves, disconnects and reconnects, Hardware installs and deployments
Ability to adapt to changing business needs while remaining detail focused
Technologies may include, but not limited to Windows 10,11, Microsoft Office Suites, O365
Support, Desktop, Windows 10, Troubleshooting, Install, Customer service, Cable, Hardware, Deployment
Preferred
A+ certification a plus
