Responsibilities
Design & Development
Create and optimize converters, inverters, rectifiers, and power supplies
Work with semiconductors (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC/GaN devices) for high-efficiency designs
Testing & Validation
Conduct simulations and lab tests to validate performance
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Troubleshooting & Support
Perform root cause analysis for failures in power systems
Provide L3-level support for complex issues in industrial or consumer applications
Integration & Collaboration
Integrate power electronics into larger systems (EV drivetrains, renewable energy grids, aerospace systems)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, and systems engineers)
Innovation & Research
Explore new materials (SiC, GaN) for next-gen power devices
Contribute to cleaner energy solutions and smarter grids
Qualification
Required
Bs degree in electrical / electronic
5+ year experience in power electronics
Experience in design front end and inverters
Knowledge of IPM motor control
Perform simulations and analyses of power circuits
Develop HIL platforms on power electronics circuits
Knowledge of inverter and switching devices
Perform thermal calculations and characterization of structures
Experience with hardware design, prototyping and test
Hands on experience with measurement and diagnostic instrumentation
