Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Spark with Java, integrating data from multiple sources into AWS data lakes (S3) and data warehouses (Redshift)
Leverage AWS services such as Glue, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, and DynamoDB for data processing, storage, and analytics
Optimize Spark applications and data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency, including tuning configurations and resource utilization
Implement data models and contribute to architecture strategy for structured and unstructured data within AWS environments
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions
Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, security, and adherence to governance policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Java and Apache Spark
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, and Lambda for data processing and storage
Proven ability to design and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and implement data models within cloud environments
