Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of microservices-based architectures using Java and Spring Boot
Architect and implement GraphQL APIs for efficient data querying and integration
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and DevOps teams to define technical solutions
Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and guide junior developers
Integrate with containerization platforms like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
Drive CI/CD implementation using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to engineering standards
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Java development, with 3+ years in a technical lead role
Strong proficiency in Java (JDK 17+), Spring Boot 3, and Reactive Programming (WebFlux)
Proven experience in Microservices architecture, including Kafka, Couchbase, and RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience with GraphQL and API schema design
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), and SonarQube
Strong understanding of design patterns, low-level design, and system architecture
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
