Responsibilities

Assisting with drafting contracts and responding to and/or discussing comments with attorneys
Updating and creating new databases of deal summaries
Conducting research relating to contract and deal precedents
Creating a library of template contract provisions and template contracts
Liaising with other Disney legal departments throughout the company to gather information and assist department members’ legal analysis

Required

Superior written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with Word and Excel
Currently enrolled in JD program
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must provide full work availability from June 1 through August 14, 2026
Must provide own housing and transportation, position is located in New York City

Preferred

Coursework in copyright, entertainment business, entertainment law or other intellectual property areas, a plus
Interest in entertainment business or entertainment law, especially theatre, a plus
