Responsibilities
Leads the Technical Services Group in a stable, reliable, cost effective and customer oriented data center that is occupied by various hardware platforms (HP 9000, RS/6000, Intel servers, EMC SAN Storage solutions), operating systems (HP-UX, AIX, Microsoft Windows Server), and data bases (DMS, Oracle, SQL Server), each requiring unique support processes and management
Manages the Disaster Recovery solution and Change Management process to ensure that any changes or failures to any systems can and will be recovered
Routine administrative responsibilities include strategic and tactical plan development, staff management, budget preparation and monitoring, customer service impact, and coordination with other Information Services (IS) Groups
Has operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of the department
Sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals
Qualification
Required
Require bachelor's degree with 3 years of management experience, or five (5) years of experience in information systems management in a technical services management role
Require five (5) years of experience managing an enterprise data center
Preferred
Prefer experience with the concepts of project management and its tools
Prefer experience with departmental budgeting for capital and operating expenses
Prefer excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prefer demonstrated leadership skills with innovative resolution to problems
Prefer knowledge of organized health care delivery, contracting, negotiating and change management
