Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships within CMS and target centers, departments and executives to identify needs and align with Commence’s solutions
Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to strategize and engage prospective clients to understand business challenges and deliver compelling presentations, solution demonstrations, proposals and oral presentations that result in new business revenue
Partner with leadership, capture and support groups to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans that identify and shape new opportunities
Support execution of Commence’s growth strategies, including effective and strategic qualification of opportunities
Support proposal review efficiency, scoring and compliance verification
Support policy summarization and impacts
Support continual development and progression of a pipeline of new business opportunities within CMS
Work with growth team to establish and maintain strong customer relationships
Collaborate with business development, capture and proposal team as assigned, to support opportunity pursuit efforts
Engage in negotiations with prospective clients, and teaming partners around business commitments and proposal details
Maintain regular contact with senior and executive-level decision makers to ensure alignment and strengthen partnership
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Health Policy, Management, law or related or equivalent experience
10+ years working with CMS in leadership or related/relevant roles
Knowledge of healthcare delivery systems and model frameworks
Proven track record building and managing relationships with CMS officials, or policy leaders
Familiarity with CMS's priorities and how its business and technology needs can become opportunities and procurements
