Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
Oversee all month-end close activities, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting
Manage general ledger oversight, journal entries, reconciliations, and corporate accounting workflows with a hands-on approach
Support the preparation, review, and distribution of key financial statements and reports
Strengthen internal processes by identifying opportunities for improved efficiencies and implementing best practices
Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment between operations, reporting, and financial goals
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
Expertise in AP, AR, financial reporting, budgeting, reserve transfers, and assessment processing
High proficiency with Vantaca, QuickBooks, and financial software
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach and guide accounting staff across multiple locations
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on accounting experience)
