5+ years expTEKsystems is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Security Engineer to join our customers Network Security team. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure with a strong focus on Palo Alto firewalls, Zscaler cloud security, and Aruba ClearPass for network access control.

Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including policy creation, threat prevention, and traffic analysis
Administer and optimize Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) environments
Configure and maintain Aruba ClearPass for network access control, authentication, and endpoint compliance
Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to threats in real-time
Collaborate with IT and security teams to enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
Maintain documentation for network security architecture, configurations, and procedures
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for network-related security events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in network security engineering roles
Hands-on Experience With Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama
Zscaler cloud security solutions (ZIA/ZPA)
Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager and Guest Access
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and network protocols
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as: PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
Zscaler Certified Professional
Aruba Certified ClearPass Professional (ACCP)
Experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection platforms
Knowledge of scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus
