Responsibilities
Act as the primary media relations lead for designated international markets, fostering and sustaining strong partnerships with local representation firms, media outlets, journalists, and influencers
Oversee all facets of international media tours for designated markets, including itinerary planning, budget management, hosting, and post-tour follow-up
Keep an international PR calendar synchronized with organizational campaigns, peak travel seasons, and major global events
Track, analyze, and report earned media performance across assigned international markets, providing insights for monthly internal and external reports
Partner with the Global Tourism team to develop and execute international communication strategies, including messaging, tour planning, budget oversight, and related initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, International Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs; familiarity with media tracking platforms a plus
Demonstrated success in cultivating and sustaining relationships with international media professionals and influencers
Demonstrated ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and consistently meet deadlines
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
5+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations; background in tourism, travel, or international markets is a plus
