They are seeking an Investigation & Rec Specialist to support facility damage investigations and revenue accounting, ensuring compliance and accuracy in damage claim processing while providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliant and accurate review of all damage claim processing

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in billing all 6 states, including the billing of escalated disputes involving coordination of multiple stakeholder inputs

Provides training for peers and new hires as needed

Serves as SME regarding department responsibilities and processes

Develops process documents and guidelines in coordination with leader

Identifies and acts upon departmental continuous improvement opportunities in coordination with leader

Independently answers peer questions on complicated damages and large outages and escalates issues to DPS Leader only as needed

Acts as an informal mentor and coach to peers and as assigned by I&R Leader

Demonstrates exceptional high performance in the execution of back office damage workload in addition to damage claim duties, i.e. Damage Check-In Process, Journal Entries, Insurance and Legal Cash Processing, Advanced Cognos Navigation and advanced informational problem solving for exceptions

Demonstrates superior ability to resolve excavator disputes

Serves as departmental liaison with COE S&I and data analysts to provide information regarding damage reconciliation process as needed

Provides information for follow up with Operations for WMS and DPTS backlog communications and collaboration

Provides ad-hoc data request completion

Monitors workload and compliance within department on a regular basis

Monthly QA/QC of Facility Damage Coordinator I claims work; addresses minor issues independently with peers and provides formal feedback to Leader on a planned, weekly basis to address significant concerns/issues

Demonstrates problem solving technical assistance and support with Field Operations, Field Engineering and Construction Services as needed

In the absence of Leader, attends meetings to represent Damage Investigation and Recovery team and provides written summaries post-meeting
