Responsibilities

Defining and implementing business development strategies for engineering services and solutions, with a focus on the Lifescience and Medtech sectors
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
Build, manage, and strengthen commercial relationships with existing clients and strategic prospects
Manage the full sales lifecycle: from initial contact and needs analysis to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure
Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic and operational marketing plans
Diversify and expand the portfolio of engineering services and solutions offered to clients
Collaborate in the definition of the annual business plan and contribute to achieving company targets
Strengthening the position in the existing business segments
Monitoring the customers activities, anticipating the needs and winning new projects
Assessing customer satisfaction
Managing the P&L of the business unit
Providing advanced P&L analysis, identifying potential issues and developing action plans to optimize revenue and contribution margin
Billing management
Managing the cash-in process
Participating in the recruitment activities (sourcing, interviewing, reporting, contract signing, etc.)
Defining and monitoring the career development of the team (role allocation, assessment, key people engagement, etc.)
Managing and balancing the workload of the team

Required

Proven experience in an engineering consulting firm is a strong plus
Previous exposure to the Automotive, Industrial or Medtech sectors is a strong plus
Demonstrated ability to manage the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting to deal closure
Strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive, goal-oriented approach to problem solving
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
Natural leadership qualities, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams

Preferred

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering is preferred
Additional studies or certifications in business development, sales, or project management are considered a plus
