Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to stormwater management, floodplain, and watershed projects from concept through construction

Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models using tools like HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and HydroCAD

Partner with planners, environmental scientists, and GIS professionals to deliver integrated solutions

Prepare reports, analyses, and permitting documentation with accuracy and insight

Mentor junior staff and review work for quality and completeness

Engage directly with clients and agencies, supporting project delivery and funding pursuits

Qualification

HEC-RASHEC-HMSArcGISCivil 3DPE licenseProblem-solvingCommunicationCollaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

5+ years of experience in water resources, stormwater, or floodplain management

Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and ArcGIS

PE license or active pursuit of licensure

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborative skills

Preferred

Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Familiarity with Civil 3D
