Responsibilities
Perform a variety of inspections to check the quality and accuracy of parts and record in the appropriate systems as needed
Visual Inspection for paint (excess/shy)
Count of ladder clips
Count of zip ties
Verify presence of dust caps/covers
Verification of plug placement (insertion)
Verify no foreign debris on unit
Visual inspection for rust
Visual inspection for bolt presence and torque
Visual inspection of yolk position
Visual inspection for presence of snap rings
Visual inspection for part/arrangement number
Visual inspection for serial prefix and tags match
Visual inspection of packaging
Verify count of parts in kits (ensure correct part #’s)
Verify no debris in hole (axles)
Record findings into digital BIQ
Enter defect information into AQE
Frequency – range of 5 to 30 parts checked per shift per person
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma and 2 years of experience in Manufacturing environment
