Responsibilities
Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of the network infrastructure, aligning it with ECU Health's goals and objectives
Develop and execute network strategies that support the organization's mission and objectives
Oversee the allocation and management of resources to ensure optimal network performance
Ensure the network's reliability and security through proactive measures and continuous monitoring
Work closely with other departments to integrate network infrastructure with organizational goals
Lead project planning and execution, including design, vendor evaluation and management, and implementation across multiple systems
Provide technical guidance and supervision in the development, implementation, and support of network systems and security
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams
In-depth knowledge of network equipment, protocols, tools, and related infrastructure and security
Strong project management capabilities to oversee complex network projects
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals
Ability to make informed recommendations in areas requiring advanced technical knowledge
Technical knowledge to help lead projects
Ability to communicate effectively between other teams
Ability to present to C-level and board members

Preferred
Experience in telecommunication or cloud technologies
Preference will be given to candidates who have supported healthcare, life sciences, or financial organizations due to understanding of HIPAA/SOX
